Ptushkin Vadim V.

Vadim V. Ptushkin is a Doctor of Medical Science, Professor, Deputy Chief Doctor of Hematology at the City Hematological Center of the S.P. Botkin City Clinical Hospital, Chief Non-Staff Specialist in Hematology and Transfusiology of the Moscow Healthcare Department.

Dr. Ptushkin heads the Department of Hematology and Oncology for Adolescents and Young Adults in the Federal Research Center of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Immunology named after Dmitry Rogachev.

In 1982 Dr. Ptushkin graduated from the I.M. Sechenov Moscow Medical Academy and proceeded to complete residency training in internal medicine there.

In 1996 Dr. Ptushkin completed the GCP course with certification.

In 2000–2007 Dr. Ptushkin received training in oncology at the Russian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education.

In 2006 he completed a course in hematology at the Russian State Medical University in Moscow.

In 1984–1989 he worked as a researcher at the Department of Hospital Therapy of the I.M. Sechenov Moscow Medical Academy.

In 1989–2006 Dr. Ptushkin headed the Bone Marrow Transplantation Department at the N.N. Blokhin Russian Cancer Research Center.

In 1995 Dr. Ptushkin became a member of the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT). Since 1999 he has been the Chairman of the Board on Supportive Care of the Russian Society of Clinical Oncology (RUSSCO).

Dr. Ptushkin has more than 85 publications in scientific medical journals.
