Second malignant neoplasms are the most devastating consequences of anticancer therapy. We have studied the frequency of second malignant neoplasms among children and adolescents in Moscow Region. 10 cases were observed during the years 2000—2008. Longterm survival can be archived in some patients using multimodal treatment.

Вторые злокачественные опухоли (ВЗО) являются одним из наиболее грозных отдаленных последствий противоопухолевого лечения. В статье проанализированы случаи развития ВЗО у детей и подростков на территории Московской области за период 2000—2008 гг. Выявлено 10 случаев развития ВЗО. Показано, что проведение комплексной терапии позволяет достичь длительной бессобытийной выживаемости у части больных с ВЗО.
