The article presents the case of successful extracorporeal membrane oxygenation in severe acute respiratory distress syndrome in a child with malignant brain tumor. This method can be used in children with oncological diseases, taking into account the underlying disease and risk factors, considering strict implementation of the recommendations on concomitant therapy, laboratory control and monitoring.

В статье представлен случай успешного выполнения экстракорпоральной мембранной оксигенации при остром респираторном дистресс-синдроме тяжелой степени у ребенка с опухолью центральной нервной системы. Данный метод может применяться у детей с онкологической патологией с учетом течения основного заболевания и факторов риска при условии строгого выполнения рекомендаций по сопроводительной терапии, лабораторному контролю и мониторингу.
