Additionally, this paper modifies the terminology to clarify the distinction between MDS with low (&lt;5 % in bone marrow) and increased blast cell counts (5–9 % for MDS with blast excess 1 and 10–19 % for MDS with blast excess 2).</p><p>This article describes the clinical observation of a patient with blast excess MDS and isolated 5q deletion.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Цитогенетические исследования обязательны для диагностики миелодиспластических новообразований (МДС): в классификации Всемирной организации здравоохранения 2022 г. МДС разделены на группу с определенными генетическими аномалиями и на те, которые определены морфологически. дополнительно модифицирована терминология, уточняющая различие между МДС с низким (&lt;5 %) и повышенным (5–9 % для МДС с избытком бластных клеток 1 и 10–19 % для МДС с избытком бластных клеток 2) количеством бластных клеток в костном мозге.
