The article analyzes not only the advantages of the method, but also the disadvantages and pitfalls that a diagnostician has to face. data from own studies on the use of whole‑body diffusion‑weighted magnetic resonance imaging in patients with lymphomas are presented.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>   Диффузионно‑взвешенная магнитно‑резонансная томография может стать альтернативой традиционным методам, таким как компьютерная томография и позитронно‑эмиссионная томография, совмещенная с компьютерной томографией, с <sup>18</sup>F‑фтордезоксиглюкозой. В статье проанализированы не только преимущества метода, но и недостатки и «подводные камни», с которыми приходится сталкиваться врачу‑диагносту.
